Kristina Leonarda
Vidanec
(alias
Leonarda Vidanne),
was born on October 7th 1977 in
Zagreb, Croatia, where she
graduated scenography at School for
Applied Arts and
Design. With so good visual
perception, Leonarda was predestined to
become artist.
When she met, in
Art of Living organization, an Indian
physicist Ravi Shankar, under his
influence of interpreting the life, she has
created her own way of expressing the
scenes surrounding us! Her
distinctive photographer's handwriting
reflects the deeper life philosophy,
quite opposite to the mindless global
consumer society trends.

She lives and works mainly in
Croatia, a small, exciting
country in Southern Europe, which
offers almost inexaustible
supply of exciting motives to
photographers. Leonarda put
camera and photograpers skills together
in her Croatian Vision Project –
presenting natural beauties, and
cultural heritage of her homeland to
photography fans arround the globe. |

She has illustrated and edited different

In year 2006, Leonarda photographed,
designed, published and sold out her
very first author's wall calendar "Zagreb
2007", and designed "Croatian
Waters 2007" calendar, that was
implemented in a business publication, "Multikont Business
Puzzle 2006/2007".
Together with Nenad Hodnikovic (alias
Tiger Borg),
Leonarda has co-autored parts of the
"Nucleon E-Learning Academy", best
selling tutorials e-book for Microsoft
Office, OpenOffice, Linux and Adobe
Photoshop".

Equipment, Accessories, Consumables &
Services
Many contemporary photographers have yet
switched to digital cameras, mainly for
the sake of speed and cost reduction.
Unlike them, Leonarda keeps catching her
excellent motives with classic analog
Nikon & Olympus professional
35mm cameras on Fuji & Kodak
films, capturing details, vibrant
colors, warm, softness and pleasent
ambient.
She scans her film rolls, using state of
the art professional Epson Color
Perfection scanner 4490, and finally does
only very little digital editing-
computer processing, just to elliminate
eventual dust leftovers and crop the
images.
The images in different galleries on
this site were certainly not "tuned" by
photo software! Enjoy natural scenes and
colours, as captured by Artist!

O konceptu
umjetničkog imena Leonarda Vidanne
Prelaziti iz
formalnih sistema u neformalni umjetni i virtualni, potaklo me na
razmišljanje o identitetu. Zato što je riječ o različitim prostornim
dimenzijama, i moj lik, moja osobnost ne može biti uvijek ista. Ona
je ovdje fleksibilna i samoživući identitet ovog prostora. Iako se
rad i fotografiranje odvija u formalnom sistemu (u realnosti), te
samim činom prelaska ovdje, ono se momentalno mora promijeniti u ove
ugnježdene i slojevite strukture. Šetnje po fotografijama, po
sjećanjima, osjećajima stvaraju svoju prostornost unutar ovog
virtualnog, internetskog okruženja. Iako je Leonarda Vidanne dio
mene, jer je ipak moja tvorevina, ona ovdje živi slobodnijim
životom, jer su ovdje virtualni kanali usavršeni. Biti umrežen u
ovaj virtualni svijet, čija je energija fokusirana na sve dijelove
svijeta odjednom, čini taj svijet savršenijim. To je svijet u kojem
se ne možeš izgubiti.
